Mesa Blanca Mezcal Espadín

In the highlands of Jalisco, the entrance to a near century old distillery stands firm.

Behind it, rows of blue agave stretch toward the mountains — planted, tended, and harvested by the same family for three generations.

A few states south, in the mountains above Oaxaca, a maestro stands beside a copper pot still and a stone tahona his grandfather used before him. These historic places — and the families who have protected them — are where Mesa Blanca is born.

We are not building a spirits brand, we are setting the table for thousands of California bars & restaurants operating with beer and wine licenses to legally offer their guests a real agave spirit.

Under California Business & Professions Code §23398.5, a TTB-approved Soju spirit can be sold at beer and wine licensed establishments. Mesa Blanca is that spirit — a genuine blend of authentic tequila and mezcal, classified as Soju by the TTB, and fully legal for Type 41 and Type 42 operators.

No spirits license upgrade,
No additional application,
No waiting period.
